Guildhall School tops the Guardian University Guide league table for Music for second year running

Guildhall is the highest rated institution for Music, and in the top 10 for Drama.

Guildhall School is the number one higher education institution for Music in the 2024 Guardian University Guide league table, topping the table for the second year in a row, as well as placing 8th out of 84 institutions for Drama & Dance.

Principal Professor Jonathan Vaughan said: “I am delighted that, for the second year in a row, Guildhall School has come top of the Guardian League tables for Music, and in addition, continues to score extremely highly for Acting and Production Arts. This result confirms the quality of the School’s teaching and artistic programming and justifies our position as a world leading institution, with staff who are the best in the business. This achievement has been driven by their energy and commitment in developing the next generation of artists and creative leaders.”
