Postdoctoral Research at Guildhall

Postdoctoral Research Fellows are an increasingly important part of the research environment of the School: they receive mentoring from established staff, supervise doctoral research, contribute to research-orientated teaching, and form a vital part of large externally-funded projects hosted at the Guildhall School, including 'Texting Scarlatti: Composition, Reception, Performance' (PI Prof. Sir Barry Ife) and ‘Immersive Opera’ (PI Dr Toby Young, himself a former Postdoctoral Fellow).

Our Fellows have been funded from a number of sources, including the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the Barbican, and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, as well as directly by the School. Opportunities supported by the School are advertised on the vacancies page, as well as Jobs.ac.uk.
