Join the award-winning Elmore String Quartet as they kick off the 2025 Chamber Music Festival with a performance of works by Imogen Holst and Benjamin Britten - two British composers bound by their friendship and collaboration.

Winners of the 2023 Kirckman Concert Society Artists and recipients of the prestigious Tunnell Trust Awards, the Elmores are an award-winning London-based string quartet, currently Hans Keller Chamber Fellows at Guildhall School.

The quartet has been mentored by some of the world’s foremost chamber musicians, and over the past two years, the Elmore Quartet has recorded multiple times for BBC Radio 3 and performed at esteemed venues throughout the UK and Europe, including Wigmore Hall, Kings Place, Conway Hall, and Oxford’s Holywell Music Room.
