SMORGASBORD (an undisciplined cabaret)
This summer, students and staff from across Guildhall will serve their tastiest multi-disciplinary morsels for our audience’s delectation at SMORGASBORD - an undisciplined cabaret, hosted by award-winning comedy drag due 2 Indie Boys From Reading.
Catch the Indie Boys before they head off to Glastonbury Festival with their unique blend of indie sleaze, pale ales & politics… GCSE.
Taking inspiration from the infamous Reading Festival (2009), the Indie Boys formed in 2023 and were finalists in Europe’s biggest drag king competition, Man Up, in the same year. These two “icks” are always looking for musical inspiration, could you be their next muse?
Holly Wilson-Guy & Kheski Kobler, the artists behind the Indie Boys, have a range of comedy styles & characters, hosting skills & burlesque influence in their work they also regularly produce shows across the east London queer cabaret scene.
Content warnings: partial nudity, swearing/strong language, sexual content, blood, flashing and strobe lights, adult themes including abuse, death/dying, references to cannibalism and references to castration.
