About NCYO Springboard
We're excited to announce our new county youth training orchestra, NCYO Springboard.
This new orchestra is for students who play any orchestral instrument at Grade 3+, and will run alongside our well-established senior orchestra. Our first course takes place Monday 28–Thursday 31 October 2024.
NCYO Springboard offers students a unique opportunity to rehearse and perform with young musicians from across Norfolk, fostering a sense of community and shared passion for music.
This new ensemble, which has been designed to offer a new pathway into the senior Norfolk County Youth Orchestra (for Grades 6-8), will prepare students with the skills and experienced needed to be part of an advanced orchestra.
There are no auditions required to join NYCO Springboard. We welcome any student of approximately Grades 3–5, regardless of their instrument or prior orchestral experience. This is a great chance to develop your orchestral playing in a supportive and inclusive environment.
