Elizabeth Rowe

Biography

Elizabeth Rowe was educated at Birmingham University and the Royal Academy of Music. She was on the music staff at English National Opera, and now freelances with numerous opera companies in the UK and worldwide including: The Royal Opera, Glyndebourne, Scottish Opera, Opera Frankfurt and the Canadian Opera Company. She was Head of Music for Opera Holland Park and Mid Wales Opera.

With an international reputation as a vocal coach, Elizabeth works for a large number of organisations including: the Jette Parker Young Artist Programme, the National Opera Studio, British Youth Opera, Danish Royal Opera Academie and the Mediterranean Opera Studio. At the Guildhall, Elizabeth coaches postgraduates, fellows, and on the Opera School; she runs the Répétiteur Course and music directs the Opera School Scenes annually.
