A leading double bass teacher, Eloise has taught at Junior Guildhall since 2018. A passionate and energetic teacher, her pupils develop an excellent technique from an early age, setting solid foundations for life.

Eloise’s students range from 5 years old to conservatoire level. Many have won scholarships and places at Music Conservatoires (Guildhall School of Music, Trinity College, Royal Northern, Birmingham Conservatoire and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama). They also perform in the National Children’s Orchestra, National Youth String Ensemble, Essex Youth Orchestra and London Schools Symphony Orchestra.

Eloise directs London Basses, inclusive Double Bass workshops in London for all ages and abilities, where participants have fun whilst learning, playing in a massed bass orchestra and more.

An undergraduate and post graduate at the Royal Academy of Music, Eloise also enjoys a busy freelance career, playing with many leading orchestras including Welsh National Opera, Opera North, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Contemporary Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, London Symphony Orchestra and others. Highlights have included recording the Matrix Resurrection film soundtrack as well as recording the John Lewis Christmas advert with Bastille.

Her outreach work has been with the Academy of St Martin’s in the Fields, Spitalfields Music, English National Opera and English Chamber Orchestra and she has worked for Creative Futures as a workshop leader in early years education.
