Frances Webb

Frances studied music at Dartington College of Arts in Devon where she studied Piano under Margaret Gulley, Recorder under Piers Adams and Violin under Malcolm Latchem. Working as a peripatetic music teacher Frances has worked in a number of educational establishments in Somerset, delivering individual and group instrumental tuition and some curriculum music in Primary Schools.    

Currently she teaches the Piano at Wells Cathedral School and North Newton Primary School where she also runs a Choir. On a Saturday at Guildhall Young Artists Taunton, Frances is involved with the Music Starts Here programme, and teaches Piano and Theory.  She also gives private tuition. 

Frances is involved with a number of musical groups locally.  She is the Musical Director for the musical theatre group BEES (Burnham’s Excellent Entertainment Society) and is the Accompanist for Burnham & Highbridge Choral Society. 

When not making music, Frances enjoys having fun with her Brownie Pack.
