Biography

Jacqueline has worked in education and the Arts for over twenty years.  Following her degree and acting training, she gained a PGCE in Drama from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and went on to teach Drama and the Performing Arts in state and independent schools across all age ranges.

She has directed large scale multi-disciplinary productions, managed a wide range of Arts performances, exhibitions and events and has developed extensive curricular and co-curricular creative and artistic initiatives and opportunities for young people in her career to date.

She is an experienced leader and has a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.  She has managed and developed the Visual and Performing Arts in a range of schools, including at a British international school in Asia, where she lived, worked and travelled for four years.  She returned to the UK to work as a Senior Leader in secondary education, going on to become a Headteacher and leading a project which reached the finals of the TES Independent School Awards under the category ‘Creativity beyond the strictures of the conventional curriculum’.

Jacqueline is an experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead and, as well as being Head of Guildhall Young Artists Norwich, takes on the role of DSL.
