From his study of piano with Joan Groom and Beryl Kington in Norwich, and with John Humphries at the Birmingham Conservatoire, Steve has established himself as a successful piano and theory teacher, now with 29 years of experience.

Steve played in Norwich bands from the age of 14 at venues such as the Oval Rockhouse, as well as taking part in classical masterclasses with International concert pianists such as Jonathan Plowright.

Currently, Steve leads a Piano Trio, performing for weddings and parties, and composes for solo piano and chamber ensemble; he is studying for the ABRSM Licentiate in Performance and is researching the positive impact of composing on mental health, with a view to future workshops.
