Juliet studied at the Royal Academy of Music, played professionally, then trained and practised as an instrumental teacher before settling in Norfolk in 1995. Since then, she has held a range of educational roles including Assistant Head for Norfolk Music Service, Director of Norfolk County Youth Orchestra and ‘Triorca’ – an international youth orchestra conducted by Nicholas Daniel OBE.

She recently retired as Head of Guildhall Young Artists, Norwich which she helped establish. GYAN opened in 2013 and was Guildhall School of Music & Drama's first under-18 music centre outside London.

She is delighted to be continuing her work on behalf of young musicians and the local community in her new role as Music Performance and Partnership co-ordinator.
