Biography
Grace is an experienced flautist and pedagogue. Growing up in Norfolk, Grace began playing the flute at aged 8 and was an active member of various Norfolk Music Service ensembles. At aged 18, Grace moved to Birmingham to study at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the tutelage of Judith Hall, obtaining a first-class honours degree. She also won the prestigious Woodwind Prize. During her time in Birmingham, she participated in musical outreach schemes and conducted research into the effect of music lessons on the social and emotional wellbeing of primary school aged children.
Teaching has always been a passion for Grace as she believes that high quality music tuition should be accessible to all. Starting at aged 14 with a few after-school pupils, Grace has now obtained her PGCE in primary teaching and teaches a number of private flute lessons around Norfolk and online.
Outside of music, Grace enjoys cycling, climbing and staying active!
