Jim Knight

Biography

Jim is one of the UK’s most recorded saxophonists as well as being an in-demand producer/composer/mixer and educator. He currently runs Knight Time Studios in London. 

His credits as a Saxophone player range from Kylie to Bublé, Gary Barlow to Mr Scruff, Mark Knight to Leona Lewis, the list goes on. He currently plays Saxophone in Rick Astley’s band.

Jim is also an award-winning commercial composer with numerous adverts and hundreds of placements on TV all over the world, working with BMG, Universal, Sony Music and many many others. 

As a producer Jim has worked with many artists including Sultan Stevenson, RutsDC, The Men They Couldn’t Hang and many more. 

He teaches production skills and Saxophone at Guildhall School of Music & Drama and RAM.
