Biography

Sara has extensive experience and expertise in both teaching singing and in performance. She trained as a singer with Paul Kingdom (English National Opera, LCM and Musical Director for Les Miserables) at London College of Music and gained her ALCM in musical theatre. 

Sara went on to work professionally in various bands and musical theatre groups in the UK and abroad in China, France and New Zealand. 

She has performed professionally in many musical genres including jazz, musical theatre, funk, rock and pop, and has professional experience working in a recording studio as a soloist and as a backing artist.

Sara has over 25 years of teaching experience and has helped students prepare for exams and auditions for drama school.  Sara is passionate about teaching and uses a variety of techniques to help her students explore their voices and reach their full potential.  

Sara continually stays abreast of current research into developing vocal technique and is currently studying her MA in vocal pedagogy. Her main areas of research are belt singing and performance anxiety.
