Biography

Wendy trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, Elmhurst Ballet School and in Bharatanatyam Indian Dance.

She was previously Head of Movement at Guildhall and has taught at Colorado College USA, Conservatoire Stratford Ontario, Canada,  LAMDA, Colby London Programme, BESG, BADA & Penn State summer schools, Laboratorio Internationale Teatro Degli Astrussi Montalcino/St Mineato, Italy and Accademia Silvio D’Amico, Rome, Italy.

She is the founder member of L’Oltrarno, Florence, Italy and FONACT, Fontainebleau, France.

As an actor, Wendy's theatre credits include RSC Coriolanus, West End, Stepping Out, and seasons at Nottingham Playhouse and Farnham, National and international tours ofGood Morning Bill, Move Over Mrs Markham, The Mousetrap and Macbeth (USA).

Her TV credits include Charlotte Gaunt in The Regiment, Wendy in Dear John, Jennifer in Sorry, others TV includes, Juliet Bravo, Emmerdale, The Bill and Rough Justice.

Her film credits include Oh! What a Lovely War!, When Eight Bells Toll, Tales from Beyond the Grave, Wuthering Heights, All Coppers Are… and  Il Rosario

As a movement director and choreographer, Wendy has worked on A Laughing Matter and She Stoops to Conquer, Out of Joint at the Royal National Theatre, and was Master of Movement at the Shakespeare’s Globe and the Globe Touring productions of Henry 1V parts 1, 2 & 3.

She also worked on Private Lives and Brothers Karamatzov plus the world premiere of Maybe at Manchester Royal Exchange, India Song for Theatre Clwyd, Merry Wives of Windsor and Richard 111 at Stratford Festival Theatre, Canada, Romeo and Juliet & Private Lives (Mercury), Goliath, Voyage in The Dark, A Wedding Story (Sphinx) also The Tempest for the City of London Festival. She was Revival Choreographer for the Welsh National Opera's Magic Flute.

She has also worked in movement for the BBC TV series Walking with Cavemen and the Iceman Murder also Sky TV’s  Fungus the Bogeyman.
