What's been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?
During my time at Guildhall, I have had the chance to meet incredible people and professionals both inside and outside of the school. This has expanded my vision and opened new exciting possibilities for the future. It has been an opportunity to create a network of people and reflect on the path that I want to take.
What other passions and projects have you enjoyed exploring during your time at Guildhall?
I have really enjoyed taking on various roles and working across disciplines in the different projects such as set and costume design, lighting design, video editing and workshop leadership. I have particularly enjoyed working with light and am keen to continue to explore it’s use within theatre as well as other creative industries.
What's something you've learned that you feel will help you when you graduate?
Coming from a background in Fine Arts, the programme has given me the opportunity to experience the process of a theatre production from the beginning to end. During this time, working in a team environment has taught me the importance of collaboration and communication.
What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?
During this year, I’ve learnt the importance of light, the impact it has on perception and its influence on the relationship with our surroundings. I’m really excited at the prospect of pursuing this after I graduate by continuing to explore the potential of light within theatre and other disciplines.
