Specialist Area: Stage Management & Marketing

What’s been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?

Getting the opportunity to create original work and the chance to dabble within unknown areas and step outside of comfort zones, all while working with an incredible team of artists and practitioners.

What’s been your highlight in the industry?

My highlight, so far, has been the professional and personal relationships I have built during my time working in the modern and contemporary dance industry in Canada. The dance stage management community in Toronto is quite small but it’s an incredible team to be apart of. They have helped me grow and develop professionally - within the Canadian dance world and as a stage manager.

What other passions and projects have you enjoyed exploring during your time at Guildhall?

I’ve particularly enjoyed being able to explore the areas of creative writing, marketing, and graphic design.

What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?

I hope to continue working in stage management and with companies or artists that produce work within the movement, ballet, circus, and/or film industry.
