Biography
What's been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?
My highlight at Guildhall has been as production assistant on ‘Treesons Project’ which was a student led collaborative project as part of the summer projects period. It was so fantastic being able to work alongside my peers, bringing together our different skills and interests to create something so different to the normal programme at Guildhall. It really helped to demonstrate to us how transferable our skills are as well as gave everyone a chance to stretch themselves creatively too. It’s really inspired me to want to work more in events and festivals.
What's been your highlight in the industry?
My highlight in the industry has been working for Beapop events company at various Soho Houses as lighting technician on small scale music gigs, broadcasting up and coming artists
What other passions and projects have you enjoyed exploring during your time at Guildhall?
I’ve really enjoyed learning more about video editing and content creation. I don’t believe this will be a path I’ll follow professionally but creating visuals inspired by different styles of music has been enjoyable to do in my free time
What's something you've learned that you feel will help you when you graduate?
The biggest lesson I’ve learnt at Guildhall is the importance of having a good attitude and being a nice person. These two elements make for a much better working environment
What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?
Upon graduating I’m really interested in working as either a lighting programmer or production electrician and exploring more production management across both theatre and events.
