Biography
What's been your highlight in the industry?
I’ve really enjoyed being a swing dep dresser at Back to the Future – The Musical. Working in a West End theatre while studying has really supplemented my learning and allowed me to both apply the skills I’ve learned at Guildhall as well as learn new things that I can apply to my studies. Working in such a fast paced established environment really encourages you to keep up with the show’s needs and to problem solve on the go.
What's something you've learned that you feel will help you when you graduate?
Guildhall has taught me many skills that will help me succeed in the industry, and help me to be versatile so I can pursue the roles I want and be confident in my capabilities. I’ve learned a broad base about making, costume supervision and wardrobe management - though working with other departments and performers has taught me many other soft skills..
What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?
I am open to working and gaining experience in as much of the costume industry as I can, including theatre, opera, live music, dance, TV and film. I’d also like to continue to learn and work with period costumes in particular.
