Blackpool Lightpool Festival 2024

Pulse – A new light and sound art installation by Guildhall Production Studio, part of Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Guildhall Production Studio is excited to present "Pulse" as a feature projection for the Lightpool Festival at the Wedding Chapel, Festival House, Promenade in Blackpool. "Pulse" will transform the Wedding Chapel into a canvas where the soul and mind, art and intellect, intersect. By integrating synchronised light patterns, geometric projections, laser displays, and a rhythmic soundscape, the artwork will present a sophisticated fusion of contemporary digital artistry and traditional architectural reverence.

"Pulse" aims to leverage the historical and architectural significance of the Chapel to create an immersive, multi-sensory experience through the use of light, sound, lasers, and projections. The installation will explore the interplay between physical space and the ethereal impact of light and sound, weaving together themes of echoes, sacred geometry, and rhythmic pulsing to create a multidimensional experience.
