Guildhall Jazz Orchestra and Choir welcome guitarist and composer Steve Banks to perform his debut album, Emboldened, re-voiced for jazz orchestra and choir from the original quintet by Jonathan Silk and Sara Colman.

Steve Banks guitar
Steve Banks is a guitarist, composer, band leader and session musician.
Steve released Emboldened, his critically acclaimed debut album as bandleader on Stoney Lane Records in May 2023 followed by a UK tour.
Banks has performed at venues across the UK and Europe including Birmingham Symphony Hall, CBSO Centre, London’s King’s Place, Mostly Jazz, Manchester Jazz and Cheltenham Jazz Festivals and Jazzahead! in Germany.

Milton Court, based across the road from our Silk Street building, provides the School with world-class performance and training spaces, including a state of the art concert hall, a lyric theatre, a studio theatre and several major rehearsal rooms.
