Event information
Following the success of three nights of epic performances at Milton Court in September 2022, OrchestRAM returns for a one-night-only celebration of orchestral drum & bass at the Barbican.
Drum & bass imprint RAM Records presents this special, celebratory rendition of their catalogue performed by the Guildhall Session Orchestra, made up of professional alumni from Guildhall School, joined by a DJ, percussion and live vocalists. Audience members will be taken on an epic orchestral journey into the genre, with over 40 musicians performing many of RAM’s biggest hits.
Classic RAM releases from the likes of Chase & Status, Wilkinson, Sub Focus, Origin Unknown, DJ Fresh and RAM Trilogy will feature among interpretations of more recent releases from Mandidextrous, Culture Shock, Mob Tactics, Andy C and Raiser, in performances by the orchestra elevated by undaunted stage production.
Presented by RAM Records & Weird Science in association with Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Barbican.
Please note this performance will contain flashing lights and lasers
Approximate running time: 110 mins, plus 20 min interval. Please note all timings are approximate and subject to change.
