We’re delighted to welcome percussionist Sola Akingbola to work with outstanding Guildhall School musicians in this free, public masterclass. Best known as the dynamic percussionist for Jamiroquai, Sola has toured the world, blending Afrobeat, funk, and jazz rhythms to create his signature sound. Dive deep into the art of rhythm, groove, and improvisation as Sola shares insights from his extensive career in both the studio and on stage.

Silk Street Theatre, Music Hall and Lecture Recital Room are located in the main Guildhall School building on Silk Street and for Barbican produced events the venue can also be accessed from the Barbican if you exit via the doors next to Barbican Kitchen on Level G.
