Guildhall Young Artists

Over the past decade, performing arts opportunities for UK state school children have drastically declined. Young people across the country are at risk of missing out on experiencing the transformative power of the performing arts.

As the UK’s leading conservatoire, it is our responsibility to ensure that performing arts training is accessible to as many young people as possible, regardless of their finances, geography or any other barriers that might hold them back. Guildhall Young Artists is our engaging and inclusive programme of music, drama and production arts training for young people aged under 18. We have six Guildhall Young Artists centres across the country and online, with locations in London, Somerset and Norfolk.

Having a network like Guildhall Young Artists is essential to ensuring that young people from all backgrounds have access to training that can help them develop essential life skills and support their career aims

Our mission is to transform the potential of school-aged performers and creatives, from all backgrounds and regions, with clear pathways to the creative industries via employment and higher education.

You could help young people from all backgrounds to discover the performing arts by supporting our programme of Guildhall Young Artists activities or providing bursaries for children from low-income backgrounds.

Guildhall Young Artists Online has given me the opportunity to work with experienced teachers from London, within a renowned conservatoire in the music field. My teachers are amazing. I really appreciate the attention and the support that they give to me.
