What's been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?

During my time at Guildhall, I have had the opportunity to venture outside of the university and collaborate in the production of some amazing shows. That has provided me the opportunity to meet some extraordinary people and to build some very strong industry relationships which will benefit me in the future

What's been your highlight in the industry?

My biggest highlight within the industry so far has got to be when I undertook the role as a Video Engineer on the Bonnie and Clyde show at the Arts Theatre on the West End. Not only was this my first West End show but the Arts Theatre is stone’s throw away from Her Majesty’s Theatre and is home to the Phantom of The Opera which the first West End show that I watched as a child. A very surreal time and I look forward to what the future holds.

What other passions and projects have you enjoyed exploring during your time at Guildhall?

I have loved discovering new pieces of software and technology which aren’t currently taught on my course such as Disguise and Cinema 4D, not only will these pieces of software help me in future of my career, but I am always looking for ways to implement my external learning and passions into different projects and opportunities that arise at Guildhall.

What's something you've learned that you feel will help you when you graduate?

Applying the experience that I have gained within the industry and outside the industry to my own projects. From the way in which I manage a team and work within one. I have also had the opportunity to see numerous different workflows from working with both internal and external creatives which has allowed me able to pick out different aspects of their workflows that I believe will make work well for me as both an individual and a creative and make mine more effective and efficient.

What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?

There is no fixed role but ideally, I would like to enter the world of Virtual Production or work with different pieces of software and technology that utilises the art of AR and VR for a whole range of different uses such as Educational and Entertainment.
