Norfolk County Youth Orchestra & NCYO Springboard: Spring concert

Join us for this special concert from the Norfolk County Youth Orchestra and the new county youth training orchestra, NCYO Springboard.

Fresh out of their spring residential course, the young musicians will perform a varied programme including works by Sibelius, Walton, Beethoven and more. They will also be joined by a special guest; novelist Louis de Bernières, who will narrate The Selfish Giant by Debbie Wiseman.

In partnership with Guildhall Young Artists Norwich, Norfolk County Youth Orchestra (NCYO) welcomes up to 85 members from age 11–18 each year. Running training courses twice a year, participants get to work with industry professionals, develop their skills and stage public performances.

NCYO Springboard is a new training orchestra designed to offer a pathway into the well-established senior orchestra. NCYO Springboard offers students a unique opportunity to rehearse and perform with young musicians from across Norfolk, fostering a sense of community and shared passion for music.
