Guildhall alumnus Ricardo Pires shares his expertise in a captivating saxophone masterclass.
Ricardo Pires' CD, Windsor Project, was released in summer 2023 and featured new works from Guildhall School composers Daniel Davies, Gonçalo Gato, Francisco Fontes and Pedro Lima.
Ricardo has collaborated with several orchestras and ensembles such as the Gulbenkian Orchestra, the Portuguese Symphonic Orchestra, the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra, the Clássica do Sul Orchestra and the Cinema Music Orchestra and the Lisbon Underground Music Ensemble. Ricardo is a D’Addario Woodwinds artist, musician of the GNR Symphonic Band and saxophone teacher at the Sintra Conservatory of Music.
Venue information
Silk Street Theatre, Music Hall and Lecture Recital Room are located in the main Guildhall School building on Silk Street and for Barbican produced events the venue can also be accessed from the Barbican if you exit via the doors next to Barbican Kitchen on Level G.
