London Fashion Week returns to Guildhall School

Patrick McDowell SS25 collection show

London Fashion Week returns to Guildhall School

London Fashion Week returned to Guildhall this month, with designer Patrick McDowell once again collaborating with the School to present their SS25 collection. The show took place in the Milton Court Studio Theatre, supported by Guildhall Production Studio. With musical direction by Guildhall professor Gavin Roberts, it featured a performance by Guildhall Masters student Strahinja Mitrović (Double Bass), winner of this year’s prestigious Gold Medal

Patrick’s latest collection was inspired by queer artist Glyn Philpot, and in choosing to return to Guildhall School, they once again illustrated their brand’s commitment to multi-disciplinary creativity and bridging fashion, art and culture. In combining fashion and performance, the immersive runway experience celebrated the arts in the same way Philpot did in his artworks, depicting varying performing arts from opera to ballet to avant-garde performance.

Patrick McDowell said: “Working with Guildhall has been fantastic – it’s so incredible to work with a team of experts to realise your creative vision. The combination of production, music and fashion is so wonderful to see.”
