Discover the highly charged and colourful world of expressionist composers, poets and artists of Vienna and beyond in the early 20th century.
Main works of focus will be Schoenberg’s Das Buch der hängenden Gärten with poetry settings of the German literary figure, Stefan George; Berg’s Sieben frühe Lieder and Webern’s Op. 3 and Op. 4, also set to poetry by Stefan George.
