Event information
Guildhall School’s Summer Chamber Music Festival returns for a weekend of inspiring performances from 7–9 July 2023.
Three days of events bring together almost 100 musicians to perform a wide range of ensemble works – from duos to nonets – in celebration of some of the greatest chamber music ever written.
There will be student-professor collaborations featuring renowned performers from the chamber music faculty in the superb acoustics of Milton Court Concert Hall, as well as the chance to hear from some of the School’s most accomplished chamber groups.
Featuring no fewer than 20 composers, the programme offers something for everyone: from Beethoven to Bartók, Mozart to Milhaud, and Elgar to Enescu, whose exquisite Octet provides the festival’s centrepiece.
