Philip Cobb announced as Brass Artist in Residence at Guildhall School

Commencing January 2019, Philip will visit each term to work with Guildhall brass students in masterclasses and ensemble coaching.

Philip graduated from Guildhall in 2009 and was appointed Principal Trumpet of the London Symphony Orchestra in the same year.

Head of Wind, Brass and Percussion Richard Benjafield commented, ‘Phil is a fantastic inspiration to our students; a professional role-model and we are all absolutely thrilled that he will be working with us.’
