Guildhall School acting students rank course teaching at the highest level in this year’s National Student Survey

Graduating students across Music, Drama and Production Arts gave a 90% overall positivity measure for their course teaching and academic support at Guildhall School in the National Student Survey 2023. Most notably, of those who took the survey 100% of the School’s Acting students agreed staff were good at explaining things and made the subject interesting, and that their course was intellectually stimulating and challenged them to achieve their best work.

Over 339,000 students from 528 universities, colleges and other providers in the UK completed the survey this year, with 74% of graduating Guildhall students responding.

Other highlights from this year’s results for Guildhall School include: 96% of Production Arts students reported that staff made the subject engaging and 92% of Music students stated teaching staff supported their learning. The School scored above sector benchmarks in overall course teaching, learning opportunities and academic support.
