Automation short course - Centre de Creation accommodation information

This unique and immersive new six-day course will take place at the Centre de Création in Dordogne, France. The course will be taught in English. 

Teaching will take place from Monday 8 April to Saturday 12 April 2024, 9.30am-5pm (please note that those timings are Central European Summer Time)

Check-in: Participants will need to arrive on Sunday 7 April by 7pm/19:00 (Central European Summer Time) for a prompt start on Monday. 

Check-out: Participants will leave by 12pm/12:00 (Central European Summer Time) on Sunday 14 April.

Catering: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the course fee. Please note that there will only be a dinner service available on Sunday 7 April (possible lunch for early arrivals to be confirmed based on arrival times) and a breakfast service on Sunday 14 April. 

Travel: Travel to and from the Centre is not included, participants will have to make their own travel arrangements independently. Transfers from Bergerac can be arranged on Sunday 7 April and Sunday 14 April with the Centre but please notify us to discuss when booking on the course. Additional charges will apply for transfers, which are to be discussed and confirmed prior to arrival. Please contact us at shortcourses@gsmd.ac.uk 

The Centre de Création is located in Le Buisson-de-Cadouin, we are a 45-minute drive from Bergerac airport and around 2 ½ hour train from Bordeaux airport. More information about the location is available here.

If flying to Bordeaux, and taking the train to Bordeaux to Le Buisson, you can find out about the schedule for the bus (called Navette) on this site. It can take an hour from landing to getting through immigration to getting the bus to the station. The Navette leaves every 20 mins from the front of the airport. 

If driving to the Centre there is ample free parking onsite. 

Accommodation: Single room accommodation will be provided and allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Bathrooms are shared. All rooms have internet access and are furnished to a high standard. Laundry facilities are available. There is a restaurant, common meeting area and a small gym area

Three meals a day will be provided by the resident chef plus tea coffee and snacks. 

There is a swimming pool onsite although it may be a bit cold in April. There are plenty of walking trails around for early morning walks.
