Biography
Dan is a theatre maker and educator specializing in acting practices, new work, and transmedia approaches to making. He’s worked with some of the country’s leading theatre organisations and been a visiting director and guest practitioner at a range of conservatoire drama schools.
His company Dawn State makes new theatre and multi-platform narratives connecting the urgent questions of today with the timeless stories of our past. Past productions have toured nationally to critical acclaim.
Dan was previously course leader of the BA(Hons) Theatre, Acting, and Performance at the University of Worcester. He studied at Middlesex University and Birkbeck College, University of London.
