Biography

Dialectic Dee is a spoken word artist from London who aims to use the performing arts for more than just entertainment purposes but rather as a tool to positively impact change. 

In her early years, she studied on the community arts practice course at the BRIT School and moved on to continue her studies at Guildhall School of Music & Drama where she is a recent from the BA Hons  Performance & Creative Enterprise.

Dialectic Dee's credits of live performances include: Poetic Unity, Battersea Arts Centre, The Errant Stage and SBTV CookOut. Her work with Poetic Unity resulted to her poetry being broadcasted live on the Robert Elms Show on BBC Radio London. 

She has also performed at the IYAF Kingston, Creative Youth Gala Dinner where the Earl of Wessex and many other celebrity guests attended. More recently, she was invited to perform at the “Queer Poetry Jam” event in Finland as part of the Runokuu Helsinki Poetry festival. After finishing a recent Christmas commercial in which she was commissioned by JD sports, Dialectic Dee is currently working on her first EP entitled "Utter Confusion" and transforming her social media whilst also working as a freelance Spoken Word Artist, Workshop Facilitator and Teaching Assistant.

Through her writing, Dialectic Dee continues to focus on unexpressed yet significant topics she is passionate about, and continues to develop her professional career as a poet, Spoken Word Artist and educator, with the hopes of one day running her own Spoken Word outreach company.
