Immersive Opera - Research Project

Project Dates: September 2024 - September 2028

Project Overview

Immersive Opera is a groundbreaking research and creative initiative that reimagines the traditional boundaries of opera. By integrating cutting-edge technologies, innovative staging, and interactive audience experiences, we aim to transform the operatic landscape, offering new dimensions of engagement for both creators and audiences. This project bridges the gap between classical art forms and contemporary digital innovation, making opera accessible and relevant to the 21st century.

Our research takes multiple forms, including artistic and technical prototypes, research publications, educational workshops, and full-scale productions in collaboration with our partners. We are also committed to fostering a global community of immersive opera artists, researchers, and institutions.
