What’s one project that has shaped your development?
One project that I feel has shaped my development was the Pop Up module. Through this project I was able to dive head first back into the world of production, writing, marketing and performing, all whilst having creative control– I feel like it was an opportunity to network and meet and collaborate with artists outside of PACE, whilst allowing us to capitalize on and showcase our craft.
Is there a particular project or tutor that has inspired you?
I feel like PACE has been blessed to have tutors who are passionate about their subjects. Two tutors who have inspired me the most are Hannah Dunster and Rick Holland. These two tutors in particular make it clear that they are passionate about the subject that they teach, and to them it is a vocation and a passion. They are always willing to adapt their lessons to what best suits the student and have both really inspired me to treat what I’m interested in with their same amount of zeal, whilst teaching me that I can always learn more.
What are your ambitions for when you graduate and leave at Guildhall?
Once I graduate Guildhall, I would love to find a job in the industry which allows me to access all the skills I learnt and refined during my time on the PACE course. In an ideal situation, this job would be well paid, flexible and would allow me to remain creative. At the moment I am looking into reading for a Masters degree, specifically in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship or Production, as well as looking to improve my marketing knowledge, specifically for creative industries.
