What's been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?

During my time at Guildhall there has been so many great things I have worked on. One particular highlight has been working in the Electrics Department for Anna Karenina.  I had such a great time learning new professional skills and working with a freelance lighting designer closely to create a fantastic piece of theatre.

What's been your highlight in the industry?

My highlight working in the industry so far has been gaining the opportunity to work on Jersey Boys, as a stage LX. This was my first experience on the West End, through doing this I gained so many valuable skills that I have been able to translate back into my practice at Guildhall.

What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?

I am most interested perusing work in production electrics or automation in the theatre or live events sector.

What other passions and projects have you enjoyed exploring during your time at Guildhall?

I really enjoyed my time as a video engineer for Spring opera scenes in the Milton court studio theatre. During this process I was able to learn software, such as Disguise and Resolume which has been invaluable & unexpected learning for me.

What's something you've learned that you feel will help you when you graduate?

Throughout my time at Guildhall, I have learnt so many new skills and technologies which will allow me to take on new and exciting new projects after graduating from Guildhall. However, I feel the most important thing I have learnt, is to always be open to learning new things, big or small and to make sure good communication always happens throughout the production process.
