Biography
What's been your highlight in the industry?
I spent a week dressing and shadowing on CABARET in the west end, it was an amazing learning experience and I met so many great people. The way the space was mapped out was unconventional and seeing how the costume team had adapted with their setups and quick-changes was interesting to learn!
What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?
At the moment I’m keeping an open mind. I enjoy the pre-show and set up side of a production, and find myself working my comfort zone when I’m sourcing at hire houses or running fittings. I also enjoy engaging with designers and bringing their vision to light. I would love to learn more about film costume as well.
What other passions and projects have you enjoyed exploring during your time at Guildhall?
I had the opportunity to have 2 allocations in the Design Realisation course – scenic art & props.
I enjoy mixing elements of props with costume and paint as a hobby so It was valuable experience for me to get to do this on larger scale.
