Biography
What's been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?
My Guildhall Highlight so far has been Sound Designing on Everyman. It was a new role and department for me, but opened up a whole new section of the industry that I've grown to love, and hope to gain more experience in.
What other passions and projects have you enjoyed exploring during your time at Guildhall?
I have really enjoyed the varied shows we get to do, especially in costume. I've had the opportunity to work on period shows and learn about corseting performers and maintaining period style costume. As well as doing a few contemporary shows such as Dance Nation which was really exciting to source, as well as Antigone which involved lots of breaking down techniques.
What's something you've learned that you feel will help you when you graduate?
In my time at Guildhall, I've learnt the ins and outs of how productions run, which I didn't know before. I've had the chance to work in and with other departments to understand everyone's roles in how the whole process runs as well as make lifelong friends and contacts.
What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?
I am open to any work in the industry, but I specifically love costume supervising and sourcing. I would also really like to gain more experience in sound, specifically designing as I have found a love for this in my time at Guildhall.
