Biography

Tane Stevens is a multi-disciplinary artist creating poetry, graphic design, installation work, music and event production. His first large scale installation, entitled Dreamescape was a sound and light experience replicating the stages of sleep/dreaming and questioning the parameters of how we’re supposed to act in a performance space. It was showcased at the BA Performance & Creative Enterprise graduation show in May 2019.

After leaving Guildhall, Tane worked with Jamel Alatise, leading production on Krept and Konan’s music video Tell Me, their album launch for Revenge is Sweet and Doja Cat’s album launch for Hot Pink.

Following on from this, Tane landed a job at award-winning production company ‘Mad Cow Films’ as a full-time production assistant. He continues to co-run a monthly open-mic night, which will soon celebrate its two-year birthday. He is a two-time Barbican Young Poet and has since started working on a debut poetry collection.
