Guildhall School of Music & Drama invites female instrumentalists and vocalists aged 11–18 to an exciting day exploring improvisation, jazz standards and women in jazz, in a warm and friendly environment that will give you the tools to take your jazz learning to the next level.
The day of practical workshops and informal performances will be led by bassist Amy Baldwin, vocalist and songwriter Zara McFarlane, pianist and Lead for Jazz, Improvisation and Pop at Music Education Islington Nikki Yeoh, and saxophonist and composer Josephine Davies.
All abilities, instruments and levels of experience are welcome to join with a range of groups suitable for everyone. Experience in jazz performance is not essential.

Venue information
Milton Court, based across the road from our Silk Street building, provides the School with world-class performance and training spaces, including a state of the art concert hall, a lyric theatre, a studio theatre and several major rehearsal rooms.
