Takács Quartet Masterclass
Guildhall School is delighted to welcome back the Takács Quartet for two masterclasses.
Founded in 1975 in Budapest, the Takács Quartet is recognised as one of the world’s leading string quartets. The Takacs Quartet are Associate Artists at Wigmore Hall, and Visiting International Artists at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Since 1983 the Quartet has held a residency at the University of Boulder in Colorado.
The Quartet members are recipients of the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary.

Silk Street Theatre, Music Hall and Lecture Recital Room are located in the main Guildhall School building on Silk Street and for Barbican produced events the venue can also be accessed from the Barbican if you exit via the doors next to Barbican Kitchen on Level G.
