Guildhall welcomes violinist Wolfgang Redik for a violin masterclass.
After nearly 25 years dedicated to chamber music, conductor and violinist Wolfgang Redik now increasingly focuses on the solo repertoire and orchestral conducting. He has directed ensembles such as the Camerata Salzburg and led concerts by the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal. As a soloist, Wolfgang Redik has performed with orchestras such as the Orchestre Philharmonique Belgique, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Austro-Hungarian Haydn Philharmonic, and the Munich Chamber Orchestra. Wolfgang Redik is First Concertmaster of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and regularly acts as guest concertmaster in various European orchestras.

Silk Street Theatre, Music Hall and Lecture Recital Room are located in the main Guildhall School building on Silk Street and for Barbican produced events the venue can also be accessed from the Barbican if you exit via the doors next to Barbican Kitchen on Level G.
