What's been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?

The recent sensory symphony project where I was the associate designer was a huge role for me as it was a really interesting project where the visual content was to be affected by the audience members' reaction to live harp music. Although I was the associate designer, I was also in charge of working out how the different pieces of software integrated with each other as well as figuring out the tricky task of how to send a signal from someone's brain into Notch, the real-time 3D visual workstation that we were using to generate images. Having managed to overcome the technical challenges at the end of the project was extremely satisfying.

What's been your highlight in the industry?

Working as a VJ for Sigala in the summer of 2019 was an eye-opening experience as I got to familiarise myself with the ins and outs of the live music industry, as well as being able travel to various music venues both in and out of the UK.

What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?

I would love to be working with interactive installations that utilise new technologies such as real-time visual generation and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
