Biography
Specialist Area: Lighting
What's been your highlight in the industry?
My industry highlight was my lighting design for Dancing To Disco at The Space Theatre, London. The show received four and five star reviews, and is the design I am the most proud of in my career so far.
What other passions and projects have you enjoyed exploring during your time at Guildhall?
During my time at Guildhall, I have also developed my skills in devising, marketing, and graphic design. I was a core part of the devising team for our children’s puppet project ‘Georgie and Gadget’, and our most recent project ‘The Kind Of Flag I Would Make’. I also was one of the leads of marketing for these projects, as well as for our international project ‘Unearthed’.
What's something you've learned that you feel will help you when you graduate?
My development in collaboration, problem solving, and adapting are going to be key skills going forward in my career. My time on the MA has allowed me to explore new ideas and ways of working, and has made me more comfortable with tailoring and refining concepts.
What area are you most interested in working in after you graduate?
After my MA, I am passionate in developing my skills in technical management, operation, and programming. My current goal is to develop my practice and work as a resident technician for a London venue.
I am especially engaged in working in queer theatre, for works that tell underrepresented stories.
