Biography

What’s been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?

Working as an ASM on the Spring Opera, The Telephone & Miss Fortune, I had the best time as there were so many varied things to do during the production. I was in costume for the show, I was hand-cranking washing machines from onstage and I helped operate a kebab van, which I’m not sure I will get the chance to do again.

What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?

I came to Guildhall to get a varied experience of different types of productions, and I have definitely fallen in love with Opera, and have found all the opportunity I can to see it and work on it outside of Guildhall.

What’s been your highlight in the industry?

Working on Pride & Prejudice* (*sort of) as an ASM dep in the West End taught me all about working on a west end show through experience, something that you can’t get just from teaching at school, so I think it was an invaluable experience.
