Biography

What has been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?

I have really valued working with industry professionals, in DR that's designers and freelancers that come in to help and advise us. I also enjoy the personal project time we sometimes have at the end of allocations, where you propose a project in order to hone a skill that you would like to improve on. Tutors and freelancers will then teach you those skills and aid you in creating your project.

What has been your highlight of the industry?

Working with professionals that make themselves available to help you. Considering they stand to gain nothing from it, it's so presently surprising just how people will go out of their way to help you if you reach out.

What other passions and projects have you enjoyed exploring during your time at guildhall?

For a long time, I have enjoyed film photography after purchasing a 35mm camera off the back of washing dishes in a pub for 4 years pre uni!

What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?

I am in the fortunate position of enjoying multiple disciplines (scenic art and prop making), though my end goal is to go into production and set design.
